Ram Cars

Ram cars are another association with the Chrysler Corporation, as the Ram name is added on to the end of many Dodge vehicles, such as Dodge Ram trucks. What makes the Ram brand so different from other Dodge cars and truck sin the series? The Ram is standing for superior performance, such as having bigger engines and just overall a stronger look about it. However, Ram has many things in common with the Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler line that is offered since they are all under the same corporation. The Ram was not used on Dodge vehicles until 1932. The figure of the ram's head was thought to be given to the vehicles in order to show power and strength against the competition. Which did win over the heart of many who are still loyal buyers to this day, because they do enjoy the vehicles so much.

In recent years, Ram has become a less sought after vehicle, simply because people are buying smaller more fuel efficient cars. For instance, we see that ram trucks need to compete with the rising popularity of the Ford F-150 truck. This is understandable given the price of gas, however, people need to consider the results that a crash would have in this smaller and lighter vehicles. Ram vehicles are made with sturdy materials that may not help the gas mileage much, however, when put head to head with some of the foreign cars that are out there, the Ram is going to win each and every time because it is stronger and able to resist a crash much better, thus decreasing the chances that someone would get hurt.

Ram is involved in projects that are dedicated towards bringing a greener product to the consumer market for people to choose from, such as those cars that run entirely on battery thus eliminating the emissions that they put into the air. There are two such cars in the market right now, however, Ram is working on making a more affordable version for the normal consumer to afford. Those that are on the market right now are not by any means in the price range of the common American, which is something that Ram is trying to alleviate.

So why buy a Ram vehicle when there are so many other choices out there? There are numerous reasons to buy a Ram vehicles, the first being the quality of craftsmanship that goes into each and every vehicle. Knowing that your car can take a knock and keep on going is a great peace of mind to have since you know that whatever comes your way you are going to get to your destination. Secondly, the durability of these cars are known to last for years as long as the person takes care of the car and keeps it tuned up and so forth. Other cars are done after a few years, however, it is not uncommon to see Ram cars and trucks that are from the seventies, over 30 years old, and still running as if they were brand new. And with the price that these cars cost, you are getting deal for what you are buying.
