Lincoln Cars
Lincoln is the luxury brand of cars offered by Ford Motor Company. Lincoln first started to be produced in 1917 and was then adopted into the Ford family in 1922. Most of the Lincoln models are comparable to Ford models in the types of body styles and engines that they are using. However, the Lincoln brand has those extras that make it more appealing to some consumers, as well as promising a much smoother ride and better handling because most Lincoln cars use a more complex steering system than regular Ford cars. Throughout the history of Lincoln it has directly competed with General Motor's luxury brand Cadillac. Each brand alternating in years, which were the top selling brand, however, Lincoln has always remained a brand that consumers are loyal to.
For the new years in which Ford has decided to rejuvenate the Lincoln brand, they are using the slogan 'Smarter Luxury' in order to attract consumers. The idea is that the Lincoln brand has always been full of luxury, however, the new offerings by Lincoln are going to outdo even the most luxurious cars out there with what Ford has lined up to offer.
The most popular car that has ever been offered by Lincoln is the Town Car, most that are still on the road today. These are luxurious cars that everyone knows, even those that are not die hard fans of Lincoln. Those that hire drivers often request the Town Car because it is roomy and rides with great comfort. However, with the new times, the Town Car is not going to be one of those that survives the transformation. Instead, Lincoln will be offering more cars that are going to attract young and old buyers alike, and hopefully spark some loyalty among these consumers, which it will more than likely do.
So why buy Lincoln? Lincoln cars have always been known for their craftsmanship of quality, sturdy materials. The weight of these cars give them the edge where other same cars fail, making them great at going in winter type weather. In addition, Lincoln prides itself of class and style. The cars all ride as if they are floating on a cloud, with high duty springs to help with those bumps and other obstacles that come in the way of the driver. Most of the cars that are going to come to the market for Lincoln are going to utilize fuel saver technology so that the consumer can get more fuel mileage than what the older Lincoln models gave people, one of the reasons for their downfall.
With all that being said, Lincoln is going to give more options than ever to those that are loyal Lincoln consumers, as well as attract a few more consumer with the new styles that are in plan that are much more edgy than what Lincoln is known for. In fact, most professionals are predicting that the new cars are going to be global icons with buyers from everywhere.
