Ford Cars
Ford is considered to be one of the biggest automakers in the world, with good reason since they have sales that not only occur in the United States, but overseas as well. Ford was first started in 1908 by Henry Ford, and from the get go the cars were those that people flocked to because they were the first of their kind in many ways. After the attacks on September 11, 2001, Ford saw its vehicles losing popularity mainly due to the high rising price of gasoline, as most of the vehicles that Ford had produced up to this point were fuel guzzlers, but people were fine with this since the cost of fuel was low. However, after disaster struck, the company has begun making more economically conscious cars in order to appease the general public.
One of the most noteworthy Ford models is the Focus. This has been one of the best selling cars for Ford since it is fuel economical and the size that many consumers are looking for. Ford has taken their environmentally conscious attitude even a step further with the new Ford that utilizes old jeans in order to insulate the car from having interfering outside noise come into the cab of the car. In addition, they are using products that are rescued plastic fror the recent Golf Oil Spill. Because of these two things, those that are for making a better environment have been flocking to the automaker for this particular model. Other notable models that Ford produces is the Ford Fusion, which is the answer to small mid size car competition. However, the most notable achievement is the Ford Explorer, which takes the honor of winning Truck of the Year and the 2011 North American Auto Show. A feat that speaks of Ford's accomplishments from the past few years in which people wondered if the brand would survive the economic downturn.
So why choose Ford? For one, they are an environmentally conscious company, which shows in the making of their vehicles. Secondly, they are producing vehicles that are gaining the attention of professionals in the field, which is something to say when there are so many brands of vehicles to choose from currently. Ford has always been a dominant brand in the United States, because it was once considered one of the big three automakers in the United States. Slowly, they are gaining this reputation back with their better made vehicles. The company is not going anywhere, despite what people may be thinking, they are a legend in the United States, and will remain so. Now that they are under different management, they are getting their finances in order which should improve their sales to the public.
Overall, Fords are known to hold up over the long haul, and they are quite comfortable and have options that will fit everyone's needs, no matter how specific the consumer may be. Plus, the trade in value for these cars is slightly higher than other foreign models that consumers may be considering on purchasing.
